Mmm.

Now that Apple's announced new iMacs and iPods, I realy hope the bottom drops out of the price on the 10 or 15 gig Windows compatible iPods...

I have to admit, I'd really like one. And I have a firewire port on my PC, so I could use it....

Dammit. I want an iPod. Why can't things stop costing money? It'd make the whole life a lot easier.

I got one of the old-generation 20 GB iPods right after the new ones were released a few months ago. If Memory Serves Me Correctly (tm) I got the old 20GB iPod for about the cost of the current 10 GB.

OTOH, one of my friends got a new-generation one a few weeks ago, and it is astoundingly thin compared to mine. The firmware has more goodies, too.

People are always looking for cheap iPods, so move fast if you notice a deal.

We'll see how it goes. I know that we all saw the press release, and one guy in the office who had an iPod with him, he had to grab a ruler for examining the new dimensions. :D
