bzarcherI currently quiver with techno-lust.
You see, one of the guys over at the publicity office is a gadget whore of the most extensive kind. Even better, he treats his gadgets immaculately, often buying all possible protective gear and accessories for them.
Why does this matter? Because he has a 2nd gen iPod. And John showed him his 3rd gen one. And gadget-dude has decided he wants to sell his 2nd gen with all it's various things he's bought for it to help fund getting a 3rd gen Pod, for he has decided it's too nifty not to have. And my boss said, "Hey, Matt's really been wanting an iPod, but can't afford a new one, and most of the used ones they want as much as a new one."
And he said, "Yeah, I've seen that crap. Me, I'll probably sell this and everything with it for under $200...I'll have to give Matt a call tomorrow." (I was out of my office at the time, and John relayed all this to me.)
I'll probably need to ask my parents if they could help with part of the cost, depending how much he wants for it all, but....iPOD! And I swear to god, if he asks for under $150, I'm buying it then and there and damn the damage to my finances, because that's far too good a deal to walk off from.
