Aw, fuck.

Woke up this morning and the PC wouldn't start. Took it into work, just needed to re-soder the switch's wires.

Start it up...and the video card isn't working.

Fuck.

Fortunately, I believe Alex (aka the Gook who owes me a lot of favors) has a spare GeForce 4...I'll be calling him at lunch, oh, yes.

In better news, work went to the new Best Buy's grand opening, and I got a cheap but very good quality pair of Aiwa headphones. I lose some of the 'HI, WE'RE RIGHT IN YOUR EARS' quality of the iPod earbuds, but I think the far increased comfort is worth it.

I've been a big fan of Sony's in-ear, over-the-head jobs. Good sound all around, very comfy (to me, at least). I've had sort of a revolving chain of them for years, cause I wear out the joints through abuse.

btw - it's solder. The 'l' is for lead.

I serious looked at a few of the Sony sets, but it came down to price and what comfort I could figure out by examining the sets from in their cases. Though I did almost get one of the S2 wraparounds. ($24 vs. $9. $9 wins, since it's from another name brand.)

Solder, Sauder, what's the difference? :D
