Instructions:
If you have 1-5 people on your friends list, say something nice about the 3rd person.
If you have 6-20 people on your friends list, say something nice about the 11th person.
If you have 21-75 people in your friends list, say something nice about the 21st person.
If you have 75+ people on your friends list, say something nice about the 50th person.
Ironically, the 50th person on mine is
jwhorfin.
No matter what has happened to him, this is a man who has kept his goal firmly in front of him, and never retreated. He's always been a good friend, and he's saved my ass at least 3 times.
So. There you go.
In other news, had a good phone interview with the headhunter. It'd be a job working just outside Columbus (the headhunter is with an agency in Pittsburgh, so he couldn't tell me exactly, but from how he described it I believe the job would be Delaware/Polaris area), 2 months on contract, then hired. If they chose not to hire, they'd find another position for me. Some moving expense probably provided, doing Help Desk, some direct support, and Norton Ghost images plus system deployment.
We'll see how it goes. If I take the job, it'd mean moving down to Columbus around New Years. Probably start at my parent's place (unfortunate, but probably the smartest move until I was hired full time), and then move to an apartment once I'm full time, possibly with a roommate so that I could afford a nicer place and things like a cable modem.
