...And though you didn't ask, director Don Coscarelli and cult-movie actor Bruce Campbell have said that the sequel promised at the end of offbeat mummy movie Bubba Ho-Tep (2003), Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She-Vampires, isn't just a joke. Coscarelli hopes to make a series of films in which Elvis Presley (Campbell) squares off against an assortment of supernatural beings at various stages in his career. Bubba Nosferatu (and, presumably, any other films Coscarelli has in mind) would be a prequel to Bubba Ho-Tep, which finds an aging Elvis in an East Texas nursing home that's being terrorized — although terrorized may not be precisely the word — by a mummy...
