Hmm. Thinking.

Much fun as Soul Calibur II was, I don't really play it anymore. Nor do I play Evil Dead, or JSRF.

The three of those combined could probably equal KOTOR.

Thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Hell, for that matter, it's been months since I cracked open Robotech: Battlecry. And I've got an original playstation sitting here that I don't play anymore.

JSRF

If you're not playing JSRF, I'd be interested in taking it off your hands. I've been trying to find a copy for a while, and it's not easy going.

Last time I argued with money was.....never. ;D

How much?

Hm. I hadn't considered that - I'm used to the one doing the selling setting an asking price. As an opening bid.... $15 USD, on the barrel head as they say?

Furthur haggling is encouraged. Or not. :D

Why don't we call it $22 with shipping, and I'll send it Priority Mail?

I wanna play KOTOR.

And, eh, everybody has games they don't play anymore. :}

So do I. :D Hence turning some I don't play anymore into one I will. I don't mind having a small game collection if they're all ones I get into quick.

KOTOR!!!!

Although I never got very far in it I still think it's a well-done game.

Maybe I'll play it again some day, but that would require doing a bunch of stuff with the a/v rig that I don't yet understand.

Perhaps it is worth it to try.

From what I've heard, it's a lot like loading a solid gold brick of gaminggasm into the Xbox. :D This appeals to me. And if my boss keeps trying to convince me to get into SW: Galaxies, I can tell him 'Naah. Filling that urge with KOTOR', and he'll probably shut up.

SW:G won't be worth crap until the first expansion pack comes out.

Then you can get spaceships. And really manage to feel like you're in the universe.

Yeah, I hear you.

Yet, for some reason, my boss is obsessed with the joy of being a Wookie.

A really, really tall Wookie. Who is a pikeman and bounty hunter. With a speeder bike. That he uses like a cavalry horse.

And through it all, he talks about the fun of playing a 'true, pure, Wookie.'

The other reason I'm not playing SW:G is that my boss scares me when he talks about it.

I make a habit of selling games I don't like, or that I will definitely NEVER PLAY AGAIN. The rest I keep on the off chance that I'll want to play through them again, or maybe I know someone who will want to borrow them.

I would personally not ditch that Playstation unless I had a PS2 lying around (indeed, I gave my Playstation to a friend shortly after getting my PS2).

Also - which version of Soul Calibur II is that? If it's PS2 or GameCube, I can give it a good home.

I own a PS1, a GBA-SP, and an Xbox. That'll answer the last question. :D

As to the PS1, the thing is, the only games I have for it are A) Imports, B) 'Backup copies', or C) 'Backup Copies' of imports. Hanging onto the external module for the imports is easy, but I just don't play them anymore. I don't even have the PS hooked into my rig, and haven't for the past year and a half at least.

ok... here's what you do :)

Keep the PSX. You won't get squat for it, they sell to cheaply. After that, go to eBay. You can find KOTOR for about $30 if you watch for a while. I'd wager you can turn SC2 into KOTOR with only a loss of shipping charges. Or, any two other games on that list.

So I'd want to list SC II on Ebay, and pick KOTOR up the same way? (Plus, would that be new or used? I'd really like an honest to god New copy.)
