Wow, it's cold out there. A balmy -1 with windchill, an improvement over the -11 of earlier this morning. In fact, though I and many others reading this will agree that witches tits are not, in fact, cold, it's fun to say that it's cold as a witch's tit out there, so I shall.

Where it really shows, though, is on those who clearly have never experienced this sort of weather, such as one I encountered while running my first calls of the day. A student sitting in a Toyota, with a distinctly...ah...southern license plate (trying not to make a stereotype for this particular state), was trying in vain to remove the frost/ice from her car with her windshield wipers, with little success.

When I left the building I'd been working in, she was still at it, with no visible change on her windshield.

Oh, well. Maybe she'll eventually have some luck.

If she turns the heat all the way up and the defogger on, the wipers will eventually work.

Eventually.

Depends on how thick the frost is.

My Saturn did it in three minutes.

But it wasn't very thick frost. I was just not able to figure out where my ice scraper was on short notice.

If her frost is anything like what was on my car, it's about 1/8 inch frost/ice mix.

that's a common misconception. withches don't actually have tits. it would be impossible for them to be cold, but i guess i'll play along.

Flag on the play! Overuse of innuendo, five yard penalty, first down.

Georgia Native, my entire life.

Use either 1. an actual window scraper, or 2. a credit card you hate.

Lacking a credit card, your despised high school student card is an excellent substitute.

Of course, here in the frozen north it actually gets cold, not this wussy '-11' crap. ;)
