This is only slightly, slightly exciting. Why? Because if it pans out, we could replace a hell of a lot of fossil fuels with CORN. And while the gerbil fetish population may be disappointed with the likely price increase per-ear, I think the rest of the world would be rather happy.

Sounds as if they're saying it like that's a bad thing. I thought it was kind of the whole point of producing technologies like this in the first place...
