Trust me. If you don't believe me, go to a country road and do it. You'll see.
As to the store? I was good! I behaved! I bought 90% needed foodstuffs, not candy. For candy, I only bought 1 small Russel Stover Sampler Heart (hey, it was on sale for $1!), and while I was SORELY tempted to grab the Alternator Sideswipe someone had left near the end of the Wal-mart checkout line, I resisted.
The 20 pound handweights on the clearance shelf near the milk, however, I was not able to resist. $5 a barbell, baby. And while the 10 pounders are great, I was starting to feel less and less like I was pushing for the workout, and more like it was just routine. I'm hoping that I'll get that push back with these, because I want to push. I want to find and go past my limits, and use that to help getting into shape.
And now, I write on a story for Lisa, and I'll go working on until I finish a bit more, and then work out on the new weights.
