Pedro is extremely NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

After spending $89 million to get the damn company back, why are they selling it off? So evil, so betraying the legacy.

Edit: Ahhh, here's a good way to sum up what I feel about it all.

Yeah, can't argue that. And the Jim Henson Hour, too, because I really liked Leon and Digit.

They've been releasing them, slowly, and not in seasons. But some are there.

Isn't that a Time-Life deal? I'd thought that was still mostly VHS, and a bit overpriced at that.

You can get the whole current set of 15 DVDs for $150 from timelife.com or any of the first seven volumes for $17 a crack at Amazon.

There again, it's best of stuff (whole episodes + sketches) but I want whole runs.

Yeah, you and me both. I'd love it if they could release it by year.

I think... that Jim is very sad right now.

I read another article on nytimes.com about this. What is even more sad, is that the company that had control over the muppets before Henson's kids bought it back, sold off bits and pieces, like Sesame Street, in order to make up for profit losses in other parts of the company. And the companies that have those bits, won't sell. So Big Bird and Grover are in danger of being changed. Me so sad. . .

I wonder if the Hensons got a better deal this time around because of Disney's falling-out with Pixar.
