Feb. 29th, 2004 09:45 pmWell, I owe Kim some answers from the Interview meme. For those who don't recall, the rules are simple.
1) Leave a comment saying you wish to be interviewed.
2) The interviewer creates 5 questions which you will answer.
3) You post the rules along with your answers.
4) You do not talk about Fight Club.
1) What kind of person are you most afraid of becoming?
Hands down, my father. He threw away a chance to do work that he really enjoyed (chemistry) for a job that he thought would make him money (computers), partially because he didn't think God wanted him to be happy. He's spent 30 years being angry at himself, angry at people at his job, angry at just about everything, rarely enjoying himself, and taking it out on people pretty regularly. He second guesses nearly everything people do, and he rarely will admit he's wrong. And I work very hard to keep from becoming him, because I see how easily I could fall into it.
2) Do you regret coming to COW in any way?
No, not really. Even with mistakes and screwups I made along the way, I got far more out of it than expected to, and both the people I met and the things I learned have helped turn me into a much better person than I was when I came in.
3) If you got a tattoo, what would it be, where would it be, and why?
Oh, god. Good question. Half of this depends on if I could actually keep a job after getting one, depending where it was. :D Realistically, I'd probably get some knotwork or barbed wire on my back or upper arms. Dramatically, I'd love to have a Japanese style tatooing of a black ocean wave, filled with stars, that runs over the right side of my chest and back, with the foams and crests defining my muscles and shape, and maybe a bit of a tribalish circuitry design around one of my eyes. (However, these would be both rather unprofessional and/or difficult to conceal for office work, and rather exquisitely painful to do.)
4) What's your favorite thing about Spider Jerusalem?
The truth, no matter what. The right thing to do, no matter what. Speaking out, no matter what. And if that doesn't work, then you pull out the bowel disruptor and The Chair Leg Of Truth.
5) What would you rather be doing?
I'd like to be watching the awards show with Lisa, on the couch, or also being with Lisa, but performing actions I will leave to the imagination. If I can't have those, I'd like to be sitting at a computer that's working the way it ought to!
Hm. Defrag done, looks OK. Hopefully killing the malware and this will make a difference.

3) Sorry for two marraige questions in a row, but I'm curious. Let's say you and Jim got married this year. Who, out of people you know now, would you want there and/or in the wedding party? This can include AD3 people, people I don't even know, whomever.
4) If you could learn about one thing, and become an expert in that one thing, instantly, what would it be?
5) If you ever closed AD3 and opened a different MUSH, is there a theme you'd love to try that nobody else has done?
