Apr. 30th, 2004 04:36 pmGood things this afternoon:
-Robert Half actually called and said there might be something for me in Columbus soon, and that they're going to work on setting up an interview.
-I found out that I could download 'Mysterious Ways' by U2 as a ringtone for my new phone. (With Vibration!)
-Due to a very frustrating user having a problem that we solved only by random chance, it was agreed by the office that we'd swear it was caused by a Tachyon Surge. And the user bought it.
-It's a Friday.
Bad things:
-I can't use any of my downloaded ringtones for caller ID ringtones, just for the default. That's a bit annoying, as I would love to download songs appropriate for various people in my phone's address book and then sync them to the right numbers.
-I can't make my own MIDI ringtones for this particular model phone, and the Nokias that do allow that are not supported by Verizon. Oh, well.
-A server went down. But it got fixed.
-The Polybot virus really chewed up the network today. But I think we're fighting clear of it.
-No word from AGT. But I did send the guy I interviewed with a thank you note!
-I keep wanting to go sleepies. Finally ended up sending someone to get me a bottle of cherry coke to see if the caffiene helps.
