I still don't know what I think of that movie. In some ways I really liked it, but there are places where I felt that it went too far. Particularly in the way that he treated her at the end, when she came in her wedding dress - it paints D/s in a very negative light, in a different way from the rest of the movie. The rest of the movie would be interpreted as just "about those crazy people" but the end of the movie is different. His actions are dangerous. A good dom/me should never ever ever put the life of their sub in danger in that way.

Then again, I say to myself, a really good dom/me knows their' sub's limits, so it isn't really dangerous. It just looks that way to someone who wouldn't want to be pushed that far...

So I end up back at - I enjoyed watching it, but I don't know what I think.

Honestly, the way I saw/see it is that the two of them seem to know each other's limits fairly deeply by that point. Plus, Lee seems to have a higher than average tolerance for pain and such.

You may. It's a love story about 2 people going into a D/S relationship...however, I will not say more, because I was thinking of having it and another movie for us to watch on your next visit, and I don't want to spoil things...
