Edit: Interesting. An overwhelming positive female response, and the only negative so far as come from a male. I wish I was still doing some gender studies work. This could be a paper in the offing.

Edit 2: Starting to see a few more negatives, some of them from women. Ladies, please, explain!

I doubt I'd learn much with different plumbing for a mere 24 hours. The vast social differences probably wouldn't have the same impact given I'd still be male-me, as well as the temporary condition. In short, I suppose the appeal to me would be education, and the situation proposed would come up short in that category.

Well, honestly? I'd want to be a man, and I know exactly what I'd do. The same thing that men joke they would do if they had a pair of breasts for a day.

Yeah I'd be in my room masturbating a whole lot. I think it'd be interesting to see how the other side experiences that sort of thing. If I were a man for a day I wouldn't want to have sex or anything. It takes men a lot more practice than one day to become halfway decent, and I refuse to have bad sex, whether I'm male or female. What I would do is go places at night and not be as afraid. I'd walk my female friends home and make sure they were safe, and know that if a scary guy comes running up to me he's most likely after my wallet.

I think you already know most of my gender-bending desires, but I think it would be wonderful to be a gender-shifter. Not just 24 hours, but anytime.

Of course, almost all of my reasons are purely sexual, though there are times when I simply wish to walk around as a man and live as a man outside of the wonderful seduction/sex fantasies. ::coughs:: But not full time. It's rather frustrating for me to only be one gender all the time.

Well, I can't say much for the guys, but at the very least, some females'll be able to answer the question as to which is more painful: getting kicked in the nuts or going into labor!

Seriously, though, there's another interesting question attached to this I'm curious about. Is there a set body we'd be given, or do we get to choose the body? Would it be like Ranma and we'd look like the opposite-gender equivalent to what we already are?

Regardless, I think my answer'd be the same: some sexual experimentation (I'd be curious to find out what a female orgasm feels like), some social experimentation (see how differently I'd be treated in everyday things, like hanging around in one of the bars I frequent), some physical experimentation (DDR, obviously, and just general stretching/aerobics/whatever).

I am of two minds of the subject. On one hand, it would be useful in collecting intelligence on the male condition. But on the other hand. I enjoy being female and well my cleavage has gotten me lots of nice stuff...I'd miss it.
