Jun. 12th, 2002 09:23 amHrm. I think I identified one of the things I -really- miss about a relationship.
And no, it's not sex. (Given that I've only ever had very heavy petting/cuddling anyhow, it's very easy for it not to be sex. :D)
I miss waking up in the morning, and someone else is in bed with me. I can feel her heartbeat. I can feel her waking up.
I miss that a lot.
Sorry I zonked out on people relatively early last night. The heat (85 degrees at NIGHT!?! JESUS!) really was getting to me, and I decided just to call it a day around 11:30ish.
(For all that, it didn't help much. Was so hot that I ended up sleeping just atop the sheets, in a state that can only be called sans boxers, and it was -still- too damn hot. I think I'm gonna buy a 2nd, and possibly a 3rd, fan for the room, or July and August will be hell.

Date: 2002-06-12 07:10 pm (UTC)5) Put a fan on the floor so that the air is blown in. Forces more of the cooler air into the room, and puts a nice breeze on your feet/ankles. Works really well teamed with the bowl of water.
6) Ice cube, wrapped in bandana, tie the bandana around your neck. Yeah, it looks dorky, but that's one of the major body-temp-foolable spots. The other two are the top of your head (biiig heat bleed there) and your wrists. :D
