The cake went over well, but did not win best dish.
On the other hand...
We won the following in the raffle:
2 free pizzas.
1 free carpet cleaning.
We found the following in the dumpster on the way there:
1 beautiful new headboard for my bed.

neeri, we were able to precisely guess the weight of the hog roasted for the meal, leading to several hundred dollars off next month's rent, and neeri may officially come over and eat our stuff whenever the hell she likes.
