Why?

Because [livejournal.com profile] pyrekitty will kill me deadly if I mention the 'c-word' again. :D

Hi, Cara. This is your ego post.

I've always been lucky in finding interesting friends no matter where I go. Much like [livejournal.com profile] snowspinner, [livejournal.com profile] demeterschild or [livejournal.com profile] katrionastar (and for that matter, quite a few others), I met Cara at Wooster, when we were freshmen in Douglass Hall and yon mighty SciHum program.

However, while I knew Cara and did a few things here and there with her, I don't think we actually got to be friends until our Junior year, which is a shame, because I missed out on 2 years I could have been talking much more regularly with her.

Cara is...

Man, how to explain why Cara's awesome?

Cara is dynamically bouncy. Awesomely friendly. Dramtically intelligent and extremely well suited to the vocation she's chosen. I'm looking forward to getting to read the sermon she's currently working on, and I think the prayers and lessons she's shared with us have been good and often insightful ones.

Cara's not just a lot of canon references and a pretty face, though. She's also a really fun gamer to play with, and though I think our characters have almost always been at each other's throats when we game, she's one of the people who really make me try to raise the bar in terms of my characterization and how I approach the game.

She's also someone I can talk PC gaming to, though she's been sadly MIA on that for a bit, and who is tech savvy enough that when she asked for help, I knew it was always going to be A) a good problem to play with and B) a chance to teach her something new.

She's a big fan of her wolves, kitties, and the furry things, and she's the perfect type of person to go rent Meet the Feebles with on a very late night before going to CK.

Hm. How else...

Look at her journal icons.

Pretty much anything that involves facial expressions, particularly that kitty going 'Mrow?'

She does that. In fact, I can imagine her doing that, and those facial expressions. It's a good way to get a grasp of her personality - often extremely energetic and curious, with the occasional moments of hiding behind the couch.

Do yourself a favor, go look at her journal a bit, and just enjoy.
