Administrivia: ATTENTION UK PEOPLE.
Dec. 21st, 2004 10:43 amI need to see if you can find something for me:
I have a STRONG hankering for Hendrick's Gin (mmm. Cucumber booze) but I can't find it ANYWHERE here. I know it's bottled in the UK. Edit: Or apparently it isn't bottled in the UK? I'd swear it was...ah, well.
How nasty would the customs be to have one of you find a smallish bottle and send me some?
In other news: 2 projects done before year end, 2 to go.

Tasting Note
Crystal clear; intensely aromatic with cool pine/floral, juniper, citrus and hints of cucumber; dry and floral on the palate; clean finish.
Serving Suggestion
Cocktails; straight up; in seafood recipes; try it in a Martini dressed with a slice of cucumber instead of an olive.
Searched at LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) using 'Hendrick's Gin'.
Is it even possible to ship alcohol in the mail? I thought it was illegal in both the States and Canada.
