Dec. 26th, 2004 02:01 amI think, offhand, that I've gotten about 12 hours of sleep in the last 72, but not sleeping yet. Can't, really.
Christmas was good. Saw my family, took care of cats, made the world safe for a guy on the highway who didn't close his gas tank, and a few other things. Friends were spoken to, a wedding invitation arrived (you know who you are, Kate. ;D), and I found out that I have a package in the office...but I can't get it until Monday. :/ Ah, well.
I got mostly clothes for Christmas, save for the Batman: TAS set that Alex got me (thank you!), but that's OK, because I mostly asked for clothes. Slacks, dress shirts, more socks, and office wear.
Scary. I actually asked for clothes instead of books, DVDs, games, or toys.
Growing up, dammit. :/
We spent a lot of time with people, and I think we made a lot of people happy.
My parents now know about Lisa moving out, and offered support and assistance before I even finished letting them know what was going on. That felt very, very good.
And now, I came home and managed to catch
skarlette online, so I am getting some more time with her tonight.
It was an unexpected present, and I what I most dearly wanted.
And I didn't even have to unwrap it. :)
Love you, Lisa.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
