I'm in an odd place. Tired, but can't sleep.

The mighty

dklegman has scribed about the hockey game we went to earlier tonight (or last night, depending how you look at it.)

skarlette went out with

demeterschild to cause trouble while we were at the game, and then we came home and horsed around a bit. It's good to have friends and to see them.

Steve seems happy. That's odd. He's almost done, very primed on his residency, and has A Plan. Helping with it ought to be a lot of fun.

Keyed up still. We may indeed go to game 3. It will depend on how tomorrow goes. But even if we don't, tonight was a fantastic thing. First time I've ever been right up to the boards the entire game. A very satisfying thing.

Things are actually going rather well.

I half wonder if part of why I can't sleep is that I'm still watching for that thing which will go wrong.
