Ugh.

Getting woken up by "Sweetie, there's a problem in the basement..." isn't good.

The water heater cracked during the night/early morning. Nothing ruined, fortunately, because it was a slow leak and we were able to put down towels to stem the flow until water could be cut off. Maintinence came out, they'll replace the heater tomorrow. Cold water until then. Yaaaaay.

In good news: Painted up my Dark Angels Captain and the Apothecary from the HQ set I sniped off eBay. Soon as I get some more paint (ie: Next paycheck) I'll do the Techmarine and Librarian. Whee.

If it makes you feel better (which I doubt), I haven't had hot water since January. My current living situation offers me none. You get used to it, at least when it's warm outside.

Also, I have no kitchen.

This will all change when I return from Ohio, but I figured the commiseration might be appreciated.

If it had been with some prior knowledge, it wouldn't have been so bad. Also, because of the reduced pressure, my shower doesn't work right, which also sucks. :/

Bummer about the kitchen, especially.
