Can you tell me if the reports from Comic-Com about Sam Register wanting to get rid of Bruce Timm are true?

If so, can someone please ask Mssr. Register what the hell he's smoking?

Who's Sam Register and why would anyone want to get rid of someone like Bruce Timm? The man's the Kevin O'Neil of our generation!

A VP of programming at CN. What I heard (which I will admit was through a 3rd party) was that he feels the DCU style of animation is getting too dated - he wants to continue the "hybrid" style we're seeing with Teen Titans, and ask Bruce to leave after the next (and final, assumedly) season of JLU.

Considering how well-done his style is, and the rave reviews JLU, Batman: TAS, Beyond, and Superman have gotten... I can't see them getting rid of Timm. If they do... I suspect there'll be some -nasty- hate mail starting to get sent. And I'll start it.
