God, going to the Anime thingy with Nikki and (eventually) Shaun was FUN!

Forgot how nice it is to watch stuff with people who get the jokes. :D

As to Shaun, because I know he and Nikki'll read this eventually: I like you, man. :D You're cool.

Shaun actually reminds me of someone who used to be my friend...but he let himself get so wrapped up in his own demons that they swallowed him up. Shaun seems like he saw the demons, and worked through them. I respect him a lot for that.

Hope to get to know him better. Have a feeling he and Nikki are going to be quite important friends, in my future.

(Note: Even when Michiba was Iron Chef, Kandagawa was a bitchwhore. Yeesh.)

Dude, I'm delighted the feeling is mutual. As for the demons ... thanks, I appreciate it. Nikki-chan is helping immensely with the last few of them, but yeah, I've dealt with a lot in the last year ... and I'm much, much healthier than I used to be.

Just spell it "Shawn" and we'll be getting somewhere. ;)
