Grunting, Hellboy tested the unfarmiliar weight of the proton pack which had been awkwardly re-rigged to fit his massive frame. Resting the bell and stabilizing grip over his stoney wrist, his normal hand flipped down the saftey and checked the meters as they slowly whined to life.

"You think this thing's actually gonna work, Doc?"

Behind him, Dr. Egon Spengler finished a few quick adjustments to the pack, then moved to grab his own equipment and sling it up into place. "No, but I don't see a better option."

"Oh, great.." Where was Abe when he needed him?

(They had inflatable ghostbuster packs right next to the full body + RHoD Hellboy packages. Hell of a mental image there...)

Just setting up the initial crossover sounds like it would be fun to write.

Yeah. :D Part of my brain leans towards modifying The Collect Call of Cthulu. We'll see - if it sticks around long enough to put meat on bones, maybe I'll write it up, clean it up a bit, and see what people thing.
