It is 45 outside. Not even a particularly blustery or bitter 45. I'd really call it brisk, if anything.

There is no reason why you should be wearing earmuffs, a scarf, bright red mittens, and a winter coat that looks like it consists of 8 square yards of cotton poofy cladding.

Quit overreacting - it's not like you'll freeze to death walking from the building to your car in a decent jacket.

Skinny people. They got no inherent temperature mitigation. ;)

Hey, there are plenty of skinnies around here in jackets. Only ONE seems to think it's time for Scott of the Arctic.

Maybe he was raised by wolves.

Well, this fat person gets cold in the winter. I'm an endotherm. It's cold cold cold for me all the time now.

Bleck.

Ha ha! 45! It's 52 at present, and was in the 60s yesterday. It was really troubling to be walking around in short sleeves since they've put up the light-up snowflakes on the light poles.

See, we had 60s this weekend, too, and it was fine.

Jeez. I'm from Florida and I don't get that bundled up for 45. A sweatshirt and a jacket at most for cold weather. I've never needed more than that, even going to cold places.

And yet you currently identify yourself with a penguin...

It's only a penguin costume!

Maybe that person is sick, or going through chemo, which can mess with your sense of temperature (and reality).

Possible, but it still just seems a bit ridiculously overdressed.

The bright side: It's almost Fearsome Russian Hat weather.

People in Texas are pussies. It was a mighty 53 this morning, and people busted out the hoodies, scarves, and gloves.

Riiiiight.

Wait.

53, and they aren't wearing t-shirts? Maybe a windbreaker?

*facepalm*

I was wearing capri pants and a tank top. Muahahaha.

45 is sweater, coat, gloves, scarf and earmuffs for me.

Below freezing is furry winter hat.

I HATE cold.

*nyah*

I can understand hating cold, but don't you start to overheat under all that? It seems like an over-reaction...

Nope. Once it gets below 50, I start losing heat like a stuck pig. I just can't keep warm without lots of layers. Now, when it's 95 in the summer, I'm okay - warm, and if it's muggy too a bit sluggish, but I'm happy. I feel comfortable in warm weather.

Be glad I don't whinge about the cold every single day. I'm told I sound pretty piteous when I want to be ;)

God knows we can't have people sitting on my stoop and being piteous - that's my job around here. ;D
