Oh, yeah.

I can't talk about 3/4 of what I did yesterday, because it ties into secrets. But I can say that if you want a mindblowingly good cup of tea, go to the ZenCha tea salon down on High Street, where nice but militantly efficient German girls will give you tea that knocks your socks off in a very contemplative setting.

Also, they have the most amazing tea pots.

That sounds like my kind of place. I will visit and you will take me if my situation ever permits?

Argh. Stupid signin.

Will do. :D Along with a few other places, of course - wouldn't do to have you come out and not get the tour.

(Blah - early! Not fair.)

Whoa

You didn't know about ZenCha?? I woulda told ya if I'd known you didn't.

They've gotten bigger since I first found them, added many more teas, and got rid of the old, awesome serving teacups/pots.

I reccomend using their menu as a checklist. But be careful, they may still have one tea that tastes like fish.

Helps to be signed in.

Seen them before, but never had time to go in before and enjoy it.

I had the pudding tea last night, and Lisa had the lavender french latte - both wonderful. I think we're quietly plotting going down there for a dinner date some night and getting the samplers and some food.

I've only had their fruit type salad. It was neat, they quartered grapes for it.

They have a spicy tofu rice bowl that looks just awesome, now, along with some tasty dinnerthings. I think it'll be a fun trip. (I'd take Lisa out Friday for it, but with OSU/MI weekend, downtown will be a zoo.)

Why would downtown be a zoo when the game is in Ann Arbor?

Lots of pep rallies, parties, "home and away" tailgates, and a good bit of campus traffic leaving for Ann Arbor through a decent chunk of the evening and into Saturday. (Several frats and bars in the campus/downtown area tend to do "keggs 'n' eggs" drinking + breakfast parties that actually opens the night before for the drinking and goes all the way up to the game.)

It's not as bad as it is when the game IS here, but it's likely to be crazy enough.
