Mar. 5th, 2006 09:45 pmOk, here's one of my odder questions for you people:
Anyone know of a good source for older style Kransekake pans?
My grandmother's have cracked, and she really wants the style with many individual rings, rather than the "modern style" sets with 3 rings per pan, and 6 pans to a cake. (She feels the new ones lead to the rings breaking when you have to get them out of the molds.)
I've tried a search of eBay and several cooks shops, and it seems like they only have the modern ones out there. I suspect I'm going to need to deal with an antique dealer, either in Europe or the US, but I've got no good sources for that sort of thing.
Help?
