Let's discuss this like Men. With Guns.
Jul. 27th, 2006 10:16 pmGood for GTA or Cowboy Bebop fans.
However, for the general audience: I don't care who ya'll are, this is funny.
Laundry done, and a surprisingly productive painting day despite not being able to get outside and do any spray work because of the heat and humidity. Most of the Devastator squad's been repainted, though they're waiting on sealer, obviously, and I need to get parts for their sargeant. (He's going to be Pfist armed, and I need to buy Pfist bitz after I get paid on Monday. In fact, most of my Sargeants may end up getting converted to fists - A power sword or axe is really neat and characterful, but having a guy who can, at last resort, punch his way through a tank is pretty damn handy.)
Beyond that, I have Plans to get a few things on payday for myself and Jon, per his standing request, and I had to make a choice to forgo going out shooting tonight for an entire day of fun Sunday, but that's life.
In other news: The Sun will kill us all.
San Francisco bravely commits Socialist engineering. If the State government, Insurance Companies, and Taxpayers let them get away with it, this could be a the seed for an NHS. Good for the poor, potentially very bad for the Medical profession. We'll see what develops, but I'm interested in this one and plan to keep an eye on it. (Californite friends, let me know if this gets much coverage in your local news? Especially if you're not in the San Fran area...)
Comet Drivers proven to be Gamilon mass-spawning devices. Starblazers fans totally freak out. (There's actually some neat science in that one.)

Date: 2006-07-28 03:32 am (UTC)(Plus, if you're an AMV maker, the movie is often to be had for Stupid Cheap, since so many video rental places got it and then moved it to "Previously Viewed" at high speed.)

Date: 2006-07-28 11:22 am (UTC)As for the bit about UV radiation....well, it's not anything we haven't been dealing with here in Oz for a good many years now. I suspect a lot of people fail to realise that a hole in the ozone layer also has the consequence of a general thinning of the layer.
