I'll see your 3am wakeup call, and raise you a 745 AM witnessing-a-traffic-accident where the guy falls his car vs utility pole roll, bails from the car, sprints across open field, comes back agitated and accusing me of trying to stalk him, and gets checked out by the EMTs as having a 184 pulse rate.
Yes, that's right, his pulse rate: >180.
He didn't want to take a sobriety test? Or have his license run?
... but I got to watch him take a swing at a trooper.
I'll call and raise with, despite being asked to make sure that her old doctor would accept her new insurance card, and her insistance that they were "on the plan!", that they absolutely were not.
Followed by a trip to "Minute Clinic", where she insisted that they'd take OSU insurance...and they do not.
Followed by "Well, OSU Family medicine can take me at 4. Can you go into work and then leave at 4?"
Funny little fact, the guy in the accident was only on meth because he had to get up at 3am to taxi friends to the doctor at 8. For the fouth time this week. Everyone needs a pickme up every once in a while.

Date: 2006-10-19 09:11 pm (UTC)It turned out to be an allergic reaction to the bottle of contact solution she bought, and ulceration around the eye.
I kinda feel like a bit of a heel for being crabby this morning. If I'd know it was that, I'd have taken her to the ER, no questions.
