Nov. 9th, 2006 08:44 pmSo, I have a day off tomorrow (enforced vacation day), and Monday I'll be at the Angelbeat conference over at the Easton Hilton.
I think that somehow, work knew.
12:30: Email goes down.
1:30: Email back up, cell phone stuff goes nuts.
2:30: Main internet pipe goes down for the rest of the day. Network team (who has to buy into our outage annoucements) refuses to sign off for over an hour because "the language of the notice implies a false cause to the outage, while we have not determined officially what is going on."
Gee, I wonder if it's because we said "The network is down and the Network Team is working on the problem."
Assholes.
After a severe browbeating, outage notice goes out at just before 4.
4-5:30 - Dead silence on the phone, which is good, because I end up writing project documentation requested by my boss until almost 6:30 when I get a chance to finally get out of there.
Today: Ugh.
