So, we did go out to the movies, Lisa, Gary, Lucy, and I. I'd suggested the three movies I'm actually pretty interested in (Pan's Labyrinth, Last King of Scotland, and Smokin' Aces), and we settled on Pan's Labyrinth. (I suppose the other two will happen later. :D)

My god, it's beautiful, brilliantly directed, and pulls no punches whatsoever. By the end of it, I was totally drawn in, and was torn between "Wow, what a good movie" and "I need to hide somewhere and cry, please."

If you haven't seen it, I strongly reccomend that you do.

Wasn't it AWESOME? We saw it after good dinner and great beer at Gordon Biersch. which, by the by, you should go to and try their Heffeweiszen. It is GOOD beer. I could drink a whole growler of it myself, if I didn't have to share with the man.

Oh, Yes.

I've been to Gordon Biersch, over by the arena, for a lunch thing a couple years ago. Sadly, I had to drive, so I didn't get to try anything. (And there was the small matter of also having to work after lunch!)

Wouldn't mind going down there again and having fud.
