Playing at X-men MUCK, and having more diverse RP there faster than I did at Evo. Woot.

Past that, still very horny, and very much amazed at how wonderful skarlette is.

Been feeling very sleepish since I woke back up.

Gotta call the Kia dealer and see if the part's in, yet.

Also had forgotten that I'm going to the Light Opera with my parents tomorrow night. Wheeefun. Really.

I'm kinda bummed because the show my sister and parents decided they had to absolutely see isn't even at least a Gilbert and Sullivan. It's My Fair Lady. Which, to my mind, they shouldn't even be doing, because it's not even an actual Opera! Arrgh. If it was, like, Herbert or Grieg or Strauss I could at least say, well, it's an Opera, won't be so bad.

But nooooooo. I get to sit through a shitty remake of Pygmalion, without the really meaningful ending or Rex Harrison in it to give me solace.

On the upside, I suspect they bring gifts of money and stuff, and I meet my grandparents the next evening for dinner and going to Wal-mart to buy a buncha things for the apartment.

Hmm. May save myself a trip to Columbus and see if my parents can bring up the VCR and books I intended to get Saturday....

Unexpected windfalls.

Got back from lunch to find an invitation to go out to a movie after work, a check for $135 for my 'yearly laundry stipend', and most importantly skarlette. And since I finished my two projects for today before lunch, I've been able to give her a great deal of my time and RP. :D

It's been very, very nice. I wish we could do it more often...

So tonight was definently fun.

First we played pool.

Then 6 IT guys got BBQ. This is a scary yet hilarious thing, especially when one is a vegetarian while surrounded by meat eaters.

Then we went back to one guy's place and watched Versus. A neat, surprisingly good Japanese Zombie Movie with superior Gun-fu.

Oh, and skarlette? There's apparently a theatre troupe in Chicago doing Evil Dead: THE MUSICAL!.
