So, someone pointed me to a crapload of "gamer motivation" posters after Dave left tonight.

Neat. I'll be messing around with Vox to see what I think of it. (No idea if this will actually be a long-term thing. Honestly, probably won't, but we'll see.)

Low Rider - Gary Hoey

Somewhere in the mists of time, I won a free CD from a local radio station, and they sent me Gary Hoey's instrumental soundtrack to The Endless Summer II. (Yeah, it's not so fun when the radio station picks the CD for you. :D) However, it's stuck with me over the years - lots of really neat electric guitar and percussion (I used to practice the drum parts on my drumset), and good cruising music.

So, um. Yah. :D

I'm a little sad that after reading an article in the local paper about a nuclear powerplant being proposed, we are still scared of nuclear power.

We should be respectful, sure, but not afraid. Fear stifles any innovation. Respect would at least lead to "How can we make this better?"

Note to work:

I can tolerate being called on vacation days, if you wait until a reasonable hour, and have good questions.

However, if you're calling me early on a Saturday, especially right after someone else has just violated my attempts to sleep in, it better be for a damn good reason.

The reason you called me for was not.
