Well, that changes things.

Alex's looking to get out of his current digs due to Campus Partners and OSU dormies moving in agressively.

Cha-CHING.

He's all about getting a place with me, so we're going to be doing some work Friday and a chunk of Saturday looking at 2-bedroom apartments/townhouses.

Marcon people: Dinner Saturday night? Perhaps around 6-7? Please let me know so I can plan for you guys.

Saturday night dinner should be fine. Where'd you have in mind?

Something...tasty.

(Wierdness: You have the Ramius as I read THFRO for a nightcap.)

Righto.

I'm perfectly happy to change the time to do what's best for everyone, especially you two since I hardly ever see you. I just don't want to be out apartment hunting and miss the chance.

After consulting with my better 2/3, we're up for supper on Saturday. Closer to 6 would be preferable, as we are (or at least I am) going to see the Masquerade.

I have no idea what restaurants there are in Columbus, but so long as it isn't Mexican we should be up for it.

Oh, and I have a new camera. You have been warned! :D

6 is very do-able. Maybe even 5:30, depending where we are and what we've found.

Do you have my mobile brick #? If not, I'll email it to you.

There is a lot of stuff right around the convention centre, including a lot of places I like to eat around that time. And if we decided to drive, we could get to even more.

I'm in for dinner. BTW, did you catch my message earlier about the GameBoy?

Yeah, didn't the reply go through?

Oh, well.

I have Advance Wars, MMBN3 Blue, Metroid Fusion, and FFTA. I do have a link cable. Only problem is that my GBA is currently packed up, and I don't know if I'd be able to get to it yet.

Huh. Yeah, my Livejournal Email is acting wonky, only two came through yesterday. Hmm. I have Advance Wars 2 and Fire Emblem, so no hurry in digging it or the link cable out. :D

If Advance Wars 2 still has the ability to be played by link while only one person has a cartridge, I'll find my cable and GBA. :D It'll be worth it.

Also: Dinner around 5:30-6 saturday work for you and Joy?

Okay, good. I think the best thing to do would be to meet in the hotel lobby. I'll probably also be bringing my future housemate dude along. He's good people.

I'd like that. :) Count me in. I'll call you with my room number and such once I check in.

Sounds good. I will probably try to do some of the con stuff late Sat./Sunday, too, but the apartment search is the first priority.

Guess I should toss in my two cents since I want to meet folks for dinner, too! I get off work at 5, so I could (possibly) be downtown by 5:30. Sixish would be better though. As it is I wouldn't have time to run home for a quick shower after work at either of those times, but I can always drag a change of clothes along to work with me for a quick clean-up job.

So far as restaraunts go, there's a Max and Erma's right across from the convention center, there's a teppenyaki (Japanese grill steakhouse) on the other side of the convention center, and there's this pub as well. Not too fond of that one given the food is sub-par but it's another option. There's more places than that, those are just the ones I've been to before.
