After being told I was free to go (and no longer a suspect!) I was able to pick Alison up and take her home. I was furious that she might have been in danger, and as it turns out, she was terrified that I'd been hurt, because they let people off the bus and kept them in their own 'quarantine' area, after mentioning that the apparent 'device' had been found. Was very glad to get her home safe.
I found out that I missed the delivery of my XPS by about 20 minutes. However, I was able to call and arrange for me to get it tomorrow from the UPS centre. Got chinese food for Alex and I, ate some, and slumped downstairs. A Tivo'd Iron Chef soothes me.
Yawn. Oy. Christ.
