But I swear to god, if I have to explain that NIC means "Network Interface Card" for the fourth time in as many minutes, because you can't manage to keep the concept of "network card" in your head, it's time for slappins.

Also note that what people call Murphy's Law is properly Finagle's Law (Anything that can go wrong, will), and Murphy's Law is more akin to "If there's more than one way to do a job, and one of those ways will result in disaster, then somebody will do it that way."

Date: 2004-09-15 01:18 pm (UTC)Hopefully her incompetence gets her fired/demoted/whathaveyou fast. Unless your employer is like mine- ie: after the 90th day, they literally have to kill someone to get fired from the place. Then there is no hope. :(
